About Me



My name is Lance Vie and I am currently a Senior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I am majoring in Broadcasting with a Media Production focus, and minoring in Business Administration. I have an Associates degree in Applied Science of Broadcast Radio/Television from Northeast Community College. I also earned two certificates in Broadcast Production and Media Production. At Northeast Community College, I worked at News Channel Nebraska as a TV Production Specialist. With that, I was in charge of directing the evening newscast, as well as master control. Along with that role, I also served as camera operator and replay operator for live high school sports around Nebraska. I am currently student working at HuskerVision which is a part of Nebraska Athletics and provides live game entertainment for Nebraska Athletics. With HuskerVision, I have worked as a camera operator, EVS replay operator, and mainly as a big-screen director. I have been a director there for two years, working with Women's Soccer, Volleyball, Men's Basketball, and Baseball. I had the opportunity to direct the big-screen production for Volleyball Day in Nebraska which earned a record attendance of 92,003. Along with that, I have also interned at Hudl, a sports technology company, as a Production Intern. My main roles with Hudl were video editor and live-stream producer. Lastly, I have been working as Director and Producer with Nebraska Nightly, which is associated with the College of Journalism and Mass Communications.
